My trip to Montserrat

This is a post about the amazing mountain Montserrat only one hour drive from Barcelona. Last week I went to this place with Velinda and Romaric (two classmates of mine). We started our trip at 10:30 at Plaça d’Espanya. We met there and bought our tickets to get the train to the foot of the mountain. Since this was a hiking trip, we were all dressed pretty sportive. I am one of these people that always prepares for the worst things. Which means that I am prepared for every possible situation that could occur on our hiking trip. I brought water, coke, lunch, a rain jacket, sun scream, my cap, my external charger… Not all of them were casual things to take on a hiking trip.

With Velinda and Romaric on top of Montserrat

I was pretty lucky that Velinda was with us, she already went there a few times before and she knew the way to the top of the mountain, where the monastery was located. The weather was amazing and the view was unforgettable. Take a look down here and enjoy the view with me! (it is a slider)

The climb op the mountain was harder than I expected it to be. Romaric and me had some trouble following Velinda, who was planning on making this trip one of her run sessions 😊 No, just joking Velinda (if you read this), the trip was amazing and reaching the top gave me a happy feeling. The food that we ate on top of the mountain gave me an even better feeling. It was a buffet with every dish you can think off plus all you can drink beer and soda. This all for only 16,50 €! If it was not for the long hiking trip I would go there every week.
